Pix from our barrio

Here are a few photo galleries of pictures taken by members of our barrio.

Thank you!

Thank you all for a wonderful (and wanderful) Nowhere 2013. We wanted to make a barrio where people would feel good living and hanging out and the response we got from barrio members and visitor alike tells us we succeeded. All this thanks to you, every one who joined in building, cooking, decorticating, partying, wandering, hugging, chilling, … The barrio exceeded our wildest imagination and for that you have our eternal gratitude!

Wonderever barrio at Nowhere 2013

Full

We are at maximum capacity. If you have contacted us, you should have received a mail with details on how to transfer the barrio fee and make your registration with our barrio final.

We are sorry, but we cannot accept any more registrations.

Registration

We are getting quite a few e-mails from people who want to join our barrio, people from all sides of the planet. This is nice, since it makes for a very interesting mix of people. This also means that we will be at maximum capacity of 20 in no time.

We started planning this barrio with friends and want to give them and their friends, who have been enthusiastic since the beginning and given us the energy to make this happen, the chance to be with us in our barrio. At the same time our barrio should be a place for all kinds of people from all kinds of places and backgrounds. We want to make new friends and not just camp out with old ones.

We have sent a message with payment details for finalizing their registration to the people who have said they want to join us. We will be sending the same info to the people who have contacted us on a first-come-first-served basis. If you want to join us, be sure to contact us, but we cannot promise there will be room for you since we are approaching full capacity.

Very important: we only consider your registration as final once your barrio fee is transferred. I know this sounds as going against the “No commerce” idea, but this is the only way it is possible for us to organize a barrio. Please wait for the mail before transferring money. If you transfer the money and it turns out we are already full, we will transfer the money back to your bank account as soon as possible.

Early arrivals

Update: If you are arriving at the Nowhere site early, before Monday 8th, to help build our Wonderever barrio, please contact us AND fill in the form for Nowhere org: Art, Barrios, Innovation early arrival.

I took this piece from last year’s Nowhere Survival Guide, if you have your ticket you should get a copy of this year’s in the mail in the next couple of weeks. I updated the dates to this year’s event, this is not an official text, could be Nowhere changes the dates, but gives you an idea. So if you want to come earlier to help build our barrio or to help build Nowhere, let us know and/or register as volunteer at Nowhere.
